Well, the time has finally come. After 5 hours of editing, and being interrupted to cook a barbecue dinner... 56K BEWARE.

After getting lost in the wrong part of the Lanark highlands, I decided to set my self in gear and take off to the proper spectator area, with an unreliable navigation system in tow. Once there, I met up with a couple of the Ottawa guys, (namely WhiskeyGolf and BigBossyBoss) Stephen the Canuck came all the way from Whitby, and we had a blast. I was surprised that people used Eagle Talons and Nissan S-Chassis cars for rallies, among the flock of Subarus. Spectating rallies is usually free, and well worth watching each time, because of these oddballs.

Some cars that were at the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! back in February were also there, notably Kurt Thiel and Russel Norton’s VW GTI, which has transformed quite a bit since last year’s rally, as seen below, the car was sporting a new paintjob.

Seriously, go watch your local rally. It is fun, and it tests your navigational skills.

after looking closer at the perce neige shots, I can see the original paint showing near the rear fender.

They were actually everywhere in the 90s. Pretty sure there was a factory effort

It’s a little bunny outline on the very top. I think there’s one on the passenger-side fender, too, unless that’s been borked. The boyfriend co-drives that car.

(I’m disappointed in the lack of Timbits overnighted to TX, haha.)
